Using subsonic 300 Blackout is truly hearing safe but can't be compared to any supersonic rifle round. For a new suppressor shopper most would recommend purchasing a .30 caliber (aka 762) suppressor as their first rifle can. It will allow you to shoot 5.56, 300 BLK, 7.62X39, .308 Win, etc..
